Keri – Jim Little Photography Staff Photographer

Keri joined Jim Little Photography in 2005 as an ambitious photographer. She brought a feminine style and focus to each wedding photographed with Jim. The Wedding and Portrait Photographers International convention in Las Vegas introduced her to a modern avant-garde style. This style, along with her unique ideas and natural creativity, quickly emerged in her photographs. Keri’s photography seminars, Photoshop training, style, and her extensive hands-on experiences have contributed expertise to hundreds of weddings and many rave reviews. Keri shoots alongside Jim for the majority of his weddings and adds to the candid, photojournalistic style that our brides love. In the bridal room, she shoots all of the special details that may otherwise be overlooked on a busy wedding day.….. the bride’s hair, jewelry, mom and daughter special before-wedding moments, the shoes and garter shots and so much more. Keri also uses her expertise to assist with the post-wedding editing process and contributes many hours of sorting, editing and categorizing files for Jim after each wedding. Peter – Jim Little Photography Staff Photographer

Peter’s photography skills stem from the ownership of his former studio, Faucher Photography where he and his wife photographed families and children for over 10 years. His talent for capturing those special moments that are unplanned and unique to the day carries over to weddings. Whether it’s children telling secrets or the hugs of family members, Peter’s attention to details adds intimacy to the photographs for your wedding day collection. He photographs weddings alongside Jim, pending his availability, and also shoots engagement and bridal on location sessions too. Thank you Peter for all you do for us!

Destine Sudano & Nick Griffith had one a windy day photo shoot April 19, 2009 on Morris Avenue, downtown Birmingham, AL. Nevertheless, their photos turned out great, with fun, carefree, candid shots. We even have them displayed in our new Homewood gallery location too! Their big day is just around the corner – October 3, 2009 at Mountain View Ballroom and Gardens. I know it will be just as much fun and we are really looking forward to their wedding!

Our wedding took place at the home of the groom’s father in Daphne, AL on the bay. We were so fortunate to have a beautiful, sunny June day with a calm bay. Our ceremony was poolside on the garden patio with all the colorful flowers surrounding the white colonnade where we exchanged our vows. The reception followed immediately with dinner on the pool deck and around the pool house. Our guests, including many small children, seemed to enjoy mingling (or playing) on the golf green and walking by the bay and down the pier. We finally departed the festivities to a night at the Grand Hotel at Point Clear before enjoying our honeymoon vacation at the Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas. We got the wedding we had hoped for….a beautiful outdoor setting with a fun and casual surrounding!

I assisted with a bridal portrait shoot on a sunny, yet, VERY CHILLY day in February at Botanical Gardens in Birmingham. (The put your long-johns on, get your toboggan, gloves, and down-coat and try not to shiver too much because you’ll get blurry pictures kind of day). Meanwhile, Lauren, in her sleeveless gown, was all smiles and chill bumps. Lauren’s parents and younger sister were in tow to help with her gown and cathedral length veil during the shoot.

This particular shoot was a blast. This girl loved to have her picture taken! She hammed it up for us and never once complained about the cold. (I secretly think she’d watched a few episodes of some modeling shoots just before the appointment or maybe had been practicing her Vogue moves in front of her mirror!) She was a natural!

Not to mention, she had beautiful dark auburn hair, piercing blue eyes, and fair skin. Hint – speaking of fair skin…Don’t go to the tanning bed for color for your wedding, especially with those natural features! Fake bakes are so ’90′s! Anyway, it was nice to meet Lauren and her family prior to the wedding. Come wedding day, you feel like old friends.
