The last of our 4-wedding weekend in September was celebrated by Larry and Deitra with a wedding and reception at the gorgeous Ross Bridge Resort.  Jim Little Photography’s staff, Jim, Peter and Keri was there for their beautiful Sunday wedding. Located on the outskirts of the city and surrounded by stunning natural scenery, Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail provides a romantic and elegant setting for Birmingham weddings. Stephen & Courtney were married in August at the beautiful Wilson’s Wedding Chapel in Gardendale. Jim Little Photography, Jim and Keri, were there to capture all of their special moments. Wilson’s provided the flowers, cakes, caterer, and reception site.  Courtney’s dress and bridesmaids’ dresses were from David’s Bridal, Tux Limited, Videographer CAM Video, and hair and makeup by Crystal Brewis.

In addition to weddings and engagement photography, we also photograph children, family, corporate shots, or any special occasion. Our studio location recently had a fun photo session taking photos of two beautiful children, Jonah and Grace! Lori & Hal recently had a fun photo shoot at the historic Morris Avenue location in Birmingham, AL. They are celebrating their engagement and upcoming wedding in April. Jim and Brad both were there to find some unique places to do the photo shoot, old gates, loading docks and colorful backgrounds. Have a look at some of our favorites shots! Wow, what a great start to 2010! We have 23 weddings booked for 2010 and appointments for 2011 in line. Looks like the entire staff team will be busy. For dresses, black is still a leading trend for the fashion-forward bride that wants to make a bold statement for the Big Day. This color scheme was popular on the Paris fashion runways in 2008 and has remained in the forefront of wedding dress trends in subsequent years. Black dresses embellished with lace and pearls are an attractive choice for the fashionable bride, but you can also consider black piping or embroidery over the classic white dress for variation.
