A wedding planner can be very helpful to make your day go smoothly from the getting ready jitters to the going away goodbyes. The articles featured this month are from Rachael’s blog, “Grammerically Speaking” to offer you helpful hints to “Celebrate the Day”. Meet Rachael Grammer
Jim has had the honor of photographing Rachael and Robert’s wedding June 19, 1990, at Hartselle United Methodist Church in Hartselle, AL. Have a look back to some of her “real wedding” details…….My wedding gown was purchased at Southern Bride and I made my own veil. My bouquet and bouts were done by my Aunt Bee from Chattanooga. The other florals & church décor was done by my MIL who is a retired florist from Hartselle. And our photographer… Jim Little Photography! There was no hair or makeup stylist, videographer, or limo service. We had a simple wedding but it was a wonderful day that I will always treasure. My two much younger sisters were my maids of honor. Rebecca, the older of the two, was almost 10 at the time going on 25 and kept correcting Jim during the day and trying to tell him what to do and how to do it. Jim told me she would be perfect for his son because he needed someone to keep him in line! Rebecca now helps me with wedding day coordination. She and I work so well together.
Wedding Videography – Capturing the Emotion
By now, I’m sure most of you have had an opportunity to see the video coverage of a couple and their wedding party dancing down the aisle to “Forever” by Chris Brown. One could not help but feel the energy and genuine love in the air while watching it. Photography can capture those images forever but videography is the only way to capture the emotion. See her blog entry for September 11, 2009 to READ MORE …
